Reflections of Our Camp Hi 2020 Season

It's All About Gratitude!

This year was unprecedented in many ways. The Covid-19 pandemic challenged us to keep people safe in a whole different way as they enjoyed canoeing and kayaking in the great outdoors. In that effort, our staff implemented new protocols of sanitizing and social distancing to keep our guests safe on the river.

This same loyal and hardworking staff met each day with a renewed determination to provide our clients with everything they needed to ensure they had an amazing experience on the river. I am forever grateful for our staff's efforts and the results they achieved this past year!

Plus, our terrific friends and guests came from all over the area to enjoy and experience time on the Upper Cuyahoga River. I saw many new and old faces this year, and that gives me such a great opportunity to get to know you as best as I can. Thanks to all who came and enjoyed canoeing and kayaking with us!

Plus, this year we were blessed by the River Gods. The water levels and the weather were great for much of the season, and it truly showed with record numbers of people coming to enjoy a day on the river. My family and I even got to spend some time and enjoy this wonderful property along the Cuyahoga River. We were able to paddle and create some precious memories of our own.

This is the lifestyle that we choose, and I am grateful for all those who see this River as an important part of their lives.

Now is the time that we rest, recharge, and plan for the coming year on the beautiful Cuyahoga River.

Stay safe and we’ll see you next year on the River!
